The local map in plain English
The peninsula has more than one setting
This guide follows the Cooper Point Road/country-club corridor and Budd Inlet side. Tamoshan and Beverly Beach are separate communities within it. The college, Overhulse/Driftwood woods and east shore of Eld Inlet belong in the Evergreen & Eld Inlet region.
Those browsing groups do not establish surveyed boundaries. Properties can retain Olympia mailing addresses while having county permitting, private roads and different utility systems.
Get specific about the community
Thurston County documents water and sewer service to Tamoshan and sewer service to Beverly Beach. That does not establish the same systems or ownership obligations for every nearby home.
Verify the exact plat, utility connection, water provider, road maintenance, shoreline rights and original building permits. Custom houses and later additions require their own maintenance investigation.
Compare this local guide with the other neighborhoods and pockets in its wider area.

Trees, shoreline, long access and custom construction all deserve a plan beyond the standard interior inspection.
Confirm sewer or septic, water source and service area at the start. Review septic records and well or community-system information before assuming capacity.
Complex decks, cedar siding, glazing, roofs and additions need documentation and close inspection. Unusual design can mean unusual repair cost.
Read road-maintenance agreements, easements and cost sharing. Walk the turnaround with delivery, emergency and construction access in mind.
Bluffs, setbacks, septic location, bulkheads, docks and insurance require address-specific review with the responsible agencies and specialists.
Confirm the actual parcel. This neighborhood description does not establish the home’s connected systems.
